When you decide to further develop your spirituality, it is good to keep a daily journal. There are many things you can write in this journal; however, the main thing is that you update it, at least once, each day.
When you write down your daily reflections, it is probably best to do this before you go to bed; this is because you can give yourself some quiet time to think about the things that happened during the day and record them in your journal. You don’t need to write down every little detail, such as what you had for breakfast. The idea is to really think about why things happened and how they made you feel.
Some professions encourage employees to keep a reflective diary, so that they can learn from their mistakes and do more of what works. When you write down your daily reflections, it allows you to think about why you’ve made mistakes and how you can improve things in the future. Your journal is also a permanent record of things that are happening in your life, so you can see any patterns. We often repeat the same patterns in our lives when we have a lesson to learn. If you notice that you keep spending all your money a week after getting paid, you can use your journal to reflect on why this keeps happening. What lesson do you need to learn from this? How can you do things differently.

Life often presents us with personal and professional challenges, particularly within our personal relationships, professional and working lives. It is said, that the true test of a persons character comes, when faced with adversity in all its many different forms; And that it is those of us who manage to stand strong and steadfast, not running away from what is difficult that are the strongest and most successful of all.
But, is staying in a situation come what may, always the right thing to do? Can there be instances, where the most sensible course of action would be to walk away? Take the example of the business man who has done everything in his power to make a success of his company. Re-mortgaged his home and taken on too many expensive loans. There comes a point when an individual has to accept that in spite of their best efforts, they are not going to be able to save their business. But find it very difficult to make the decision to cut their losses and start afresh. There can be many reasons for this. Loss of prestige, fear of looking a failure to family and friends, or simply that they are unable to face up to the reality of the situation. If only they could see that it takes more courage and strength of character to start again, then it does to hang on to something long after it has ceased to be viable.

Dealing with the death of a loved one is by far one of the hardest things you will ever have to live with. Losing a parent, spouse, sibling or even children can be devastatingly painful. Many of us understand that dying in itself is a natural part of life, yet we can still be overcome by shock and confusion, which sometimes lead to bouts of sadness or depression. With time, the intense feeling of sadness typically diminishes. However, the important thing to note is that grieving is an important process in order to overcome your loss. You can start by focusing on the wonderful experiences you had with your loved one.
Everyone reacts differently when it comes to coping with the death of a loved one. Some prefer support groups while others chose to seek out metaphysical avenues such as physics and or mediums to try and connect with their loved ones on the other side. The good thing is that you have many options to help you through the death and dying stages. It may take quite a few months or even years to come to terms with losing a loved one. There is no “standard” time for someone to grieve. Don’t expect to pass through the phases quickly, it takes time especially if you had a difficult relationship with the deceased.

Whether you are aware of it or not. All of us can and do tap into the universal healing energy of love, on a regular basis. Every time you listen with patience and compassion to another person, or reach out a reassuring hand, you are becoming a channel of unconditional love. Every mother who holds her child close, wipes away a tear, who soothes hurts and fears; is a channel of healing love.
When people are in pain, be it emotional or spiritual. They often say how alone and lost they feel, and often push away those closest to them, who want to love and help them. Though I believe that we are always surrounded by love, the darkness of their thoughts and feelings in this state, creates a mantle of depression to settle on their shoulders; And it is this self erected barrier, that makes it difficult if not impossible for them to feel love. Feelings of despair and hopelessness can be a terrible thing. It is to those people I speak and to anyone who knows what it is like to feel lonely and unloved.
